Firefighters from Garrison Petawawa National Defence Fire Service (NDFS) and the Town of Petawawa Fire Department stopped at Herman Street Public School on May 31. Kindergarteners learned about fire safety, the importance of fire detectors, and the necessity of a fire safety plan. The kids then rushed outside to see the equipment and the truck up close and personal, a very exciting experience for many.
