Seventy children followed Joseph’s journey through slavery and prison to the Pharaoh’s palace in this year’s Vacation Bible School at Garrison Petawawa. This seven days of fun, beginning on Aug. 8, took participants through religious lessons while demonstrating the splendours of Egypt. Each day had different daily activities tailored towards a Christian theme, so kids had fun while learning. The annual summer camp is a joint effort between the St. George’s and St. Francis of Assisi chapels as well as the Pine Ridge Family Church and Trailhead Baptist Church. It was open to kids between the ages four and 11 of any denomination.
