Pembroke Little League hosted the Major division and Renfrew hosted the Minor division Year-End tournaments. Teams from Renfrew, Madawaska Valley, Eganville, Pembroke and Petawawa participated in play-down tournaments to claim the District 8 House League Championships.

In the Major Division (ages 11-12), teams faced off at Riverside Park (Pembroke) and Norman Street (Petawawa) fields. The Petawawa Wawas went undefeated in four games, beating Renfrew in the finals for the A Championship title.

In the Minor division (ages 9-10), the Petawawa Predators went undefeated in three games at Ma-Te-Way park, beating Eganville in the finals for the A Championship title.

Players, parents and families appreciated the favourable conditions after a very wet and soggy baseball season.

PPLL would like to thank the players, parents, volunteers, umpires, coaches and recreation staff for making this event such a huge success.

All baseball fans are looking forward to next-year’s season.
