Donation to Hope Reins - The War Horse Project

The Greater Petawawa Civitan Club donated $3,000 during a recent Sunday night Bingo towards their sponsorship of Molly, one of the horses in service for Hope Reins - Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy programs, which include The War Horse Project. The War Horse Project is an equine-assisted program intended for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, First Responders and Corrections officers who have been adversely affected by trauma. Every 16-week session costs $30,000, and the average cost per person is $3,000 per program

Civitan bingo is held every Sunday at the Petawawa Civic Centre. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., early bird games start at 6:30 p.m. and regular games start at 7 p.m. (Submitted photo)
