The weather too hot and humid for you these days? Come into the club and enjoy a fitness class with Jenna on Tuesday mornings at 11:30 a.m., this class is free and it will be available until September 20 downstairs.

The fitness room is available every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and it will assist you in staying fit during the summer. Yoga class takes place on Thursday mornings at 9:15 a.m. with Linda Howe. Don’t worry if you forgot your yoga mat as we have extra mats at the Club.

Water Media is held on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. and Quilting is on Fridays all day, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your sewing machine and start creating your latest sewing project.

Of course the card players are always dedicated to their fun with card playing. Come out on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. for Bid Euchre. Mondays at 1 p.m. for Bridge and Friday evenings for regular Euchre at 7 p.m. A 50/50 draw is part of the card fun also.

Our Open House will take place on Thursday, September 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the afternoon. We will also be having the Saxophonics in for a musical concert on Thursday, September 26 at 1 p.m. in the afternoon with some delicious dessert and tea and coffee.

Are you looking for somewhere in the community that you can walk in the shade? Then seek out the Terrace Park off Laurentian Drive and enjoy a lovely stroll in the woods and listen to the birds chirping and the chipmunks running and chattering. There is another small park adjacent to the trail that has playground equipment for the grandchildren. There are portapotties available. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day.

The old train tracks in town have been turned into a great walking trail and bicycle trail for all age groups. Check it out and enjoy the summer sunshine.

Bring in some food items for the Food Bank and also your stamped grocery receipts and place them in the boxes provided. Support the community by shopping and playing in the area.
