Thanks to its Poppy Fund, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517 Petawawa made an $8,000 donation to the Deep River & District Hospital (DRDH) Foundation. Many soldiers and their families use this hospital for their medical needs, making it an ideal recipient to further the Legion’s goal of helping the military community. The funds will go towards the purchase of either a portable x-ray machine or an oxygen therapy machine.
