The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517 donated $2,000 to the Petawawa Pantry Food Bank, which will go a long way to help feed the approximately 90 families in the area that require the Pantry’s services.

The money was collected from the extremely popular Catch the Ace and a second donation of the same amount will be presented to the Pantry in January.

It was important to the Legion that the Catch the Ace funds go to help the local community and this money will go towards food, upkeep and personal products that the clients might require.
