The 2642 3 RCR Cadet Corps invited the President of the Legion to participate in their Christmas Dinner; I found it to be a joyous occasion rooted in strong traditions. The Legion made a donation to the Cadet Corps for $3,000.

The Trucker’s Toy Drive / Christmas Hamper was a complete success doubling the donations from last year. As a team, we have been able to help the more than 85 families within our community as well as extend our generosity to surrounding communities, trying to ensure everyone has a good Christmas. The Trucker’s Toy Drive made a donation to the Legion of $5,500 towards the Christmas Hamper. The Food Pantry also donated all of the non-perishables and the turkeys for the Christmas Hampers. On behalf of the community of Petawawa, and Renfrew County, I would like to thank everyone for their generosity this Holiday Season. It takes dedication from individuals to make miracles happen.
