July 5 marked a new chapter in 2 Field Ambulance’s (2 Fd Amb) history; the unit received its newest commander after recently promoted Colonel Gary O’Neil handed over his position to Lieutenant Colonel Steven Douglas Pirie. The Change of Command Parade was held at Kiska Beach. The location was purposely chosen for its scenic beauty and distinct Petawawa atmosphere. Once the formalities were completed, the soldiers and spectators were invited to enjoy the area.
