We are pleased to announce that a branch of the Canadian Forces Logistics Association (CFLA) is opening in Petawawa. The CFLA is an association for Canadian Forces Logisticians by Logisticians of all trades, classes and elements.  The CFLA is a national association representing Logisticians across Canada with chapter branches in Borden, Montreal and Cold Lake, to name a few.  We, being home of the warrior, are proud to announce that we will be able to have our own chapter in Petawawa.

The principal aim of our association is to provide a forum where past and present Logisticians can gather and enhance our Esprit de Corps and professional expertise.  This includes the celebrating of of our shared history, the enhancement of our professional skills through networking and development and the uniting under one organization.  We will be able to explore topics such as understanding our fore bearers; the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps (RCASC) and the Royal Canadian Army Ordinance Corps (RCOC).  We will also be hosting events to help solidify our community and share our successes.  One such event is anticipated for 21 September 2017 at the Petawawa Legion with guests such as the Branch Advisor and Branch CWO.

Come share our 50th anniversary by helping to build our identity through an association.   We are continually searching for members to fill our ranks, regardless of rank or trade within our branch.  We are also currently looking to fill some executive positions and are happy to entertain anyone who may be interested. Our next meeting is 11 July 17 at the Petawawa Legion at 1630hrs.  If you would like more information you may contact Capt Nick Kriaris at nickolaos.kriaris@forces.gc.ca or WO Michael Laughlin at Michael.Laughlin@forces.gc.ca. You are also welcome to look up the CFLA on our website at www.cfla-alfc.org
