Bring dad, the whole family or just yourself this Sunday, June 18 for a great breakfast to start off the day. Sausage and eggs with home fries, beans and toast with juice, coffee and tea served from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. You can upgrade your breakfast to steak and eggs for a few dollars more. We also do pancakes!! Something for everyone and all are welcome.
BBQs continue every Friday from 4:30-6 p.m. This week is chicken, hamburgers and foot long hot dogs with salads.
We are still collecting items for our yard sale on Sunday, June 25. If you have done some spring cleaning and have some gently used items, we will gladly take them off your hands. They can be dropped off mornings until 11:30 except Tuesdays. We have large and small items including furniture that can help furnish a new apartment/house or maybe for a student set-up. You can also rent a table to sell your own items that day. Drop in and see Liz to book. Call 613-687-2504 for more information.
Tickets for our Canada Day T-bone steak or chicken dinner are now on sale at the bar in the downstairs lounge. Join us for our redneck horseshoes (see if you can throw a toilet seat around a pole) or try your luck at washer toss starting at 1 p.m., then stay and enjoy a great meal served from 4:30-6 p.m. Open to all. Trivia in support of the Petawawa Seniors complex will be taking place at 6:30 for a 7 p.m. start in upstairs hall.
The walkways around the heating systems on the roof are being done as per TSSA direction that unfortunately will be unavoidably expensive. Thank you to JP2G for doing the engineering plans that allowed us to be able to go ahead with the build. Also Veterans Contractors for doing the work, allowing us to pay over time.
