In support of Canada’s 150th Birthday, PSP Health Promotion, Fitness and Sports has opted to help our military communities embrace a healthy challenge every month of 2017. The month of May was no different as we encouraged our community to “Spring into Shape” by moving 150 kms during the month. This motivated participants to bike, walk, run and even kayak their way to 150 kms. Individuals were encouraged to track their activities throughout the month to enter a draw for a chance to win one of three $50 CANEX gift cards. We had approximately 40 participants who accumulated way beyond the expected 150 kms over the month. Congratulations to our winners Corporal Stephanie Kozlowski of 2 Service Battalion, Leading Seaman Jennifer Girouard of 427 Special Operations Aviation Squadron and Jacques Caron of the National Defence Fire Service Garrison Petawawa, and a special thank you to CANEX Retail, our sponsor for this month’s event.
