This Friday night from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Denis the Menace will be playing in the downstairs lounge for your listening pleasure. Drop in from 5-6:30 p.m. and enjoy your dinner of fish, wings, chicken strips, fries and/or onion rings then head downstairs to finish your week relaxing. Events are open to the public so round up your friends and drop by.
While you are in for your meal you can pick up your Catch the Ace ticket for $5. The jackpot has grown to over $10,000. I am sure everyone could use some extra money. Tickets can be purchased every day starting at noon from the bartender on duty by anyone 18 years and up.
Our Men’s Auxiliary is planning a dinner for Sunday, Mar. 11. Details in next week’s Post.
St Paddy’s Day will have the band Fifth Street playing in the evening from 8 p.m. to midnight and there will be entertainment on during the day to help you celebrate all things green. Everyone is welcome to attend and we will have Irish Stew on to keep you fed.
If you or someone you know is doing a disability claim through Veterans Affairs and having difficulty with the paperwork, our Legion Veterans Service Officer Paul can help you. Call 613-639-3236 and he can set up an appointment to meet. You do not need to be a Legion member to access this service.
