This Saturday, Nov. 11 please join us at the Cenotaph for our Remembrance Day service. The parade will step off from Mulvihill Drug Mart parking area at 10:40 a.m. to march up the boulevard. Some areas will be cordoned off until after the parade arrives. We hope many will take the time to remember the sacrifices made. If you can not make it, pausing for two minutes at 11 a.m. in remembrance would be appreciated.

In preparation for Remembrance Day we will not be having fish and chips on Friday, Nov. 10 but will return on the 17th.

There are still some tables available for our Craft Sale on Sunday, Nov. 26 in the main hall. If you would like to rent a table, call Liz weekday mornings before noon at 613-687-2504. We will also have a bake sale going on so you can pick up some goodies. Open to all.

Prime booking days for Christmas parties are filling up fast, so if you are looking for a really nicely decorated hall for a reasonable price with on site catering, then give Liz a call at the number above to book.

Soup and sandwich Wednesday continues so drop in to the branch between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a different soup every week. Open to all so join us.

If you have not paid your dues yet, why not do it before Nov. 30 and be an Early Bird and save yourself a few dollars. Dues can be paid at the bar during regular hours.

If you have not picked up your Catch the Ace ticket yet for this week, why not? Everyone is allowed to play and the jackpot is a nice sum that would go a long way to a great Christmas or pay some bills. Tickets can be purchased at the bar during regular hours.
