PMFRC welcomes families to the area with party

The Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) had their 4th annual summer block party on Aug. 17. The watermelon-themed event was incredibly popular event and hundreds of families, many of them new to the area, visited the South Side Community Centre to see what the PMFRC has to offer and enjoy some great free activities. Despite the threatening rain, the day went off without a hitch with something fun for everyone to enjoy. Activities included children's games, French activities, introduction and information booths from each department, and special fun zones for teens, adults, families and those who have sensory issues.
