Beyond the Coast is a unique new business offering salt therapy right in the heart of Petawawa.
Salt therapy can be used as a natural way to treat skin and breathing issues as well as promote sounder sleep, relaxation and better overall health. Salt therapy isn’t the business’s only offering, however. It has a Neurospa, which combines vibrations, music and lights in a zero-gravity chair to bring about relaxation and energy. A retail boutique of Canadian-made products can also be found on location.
In Montreal, owner Suzie Wiseman discovered the benefits of salt therapy due to her own skin problems. “I was amazed at how well that gave me good results,” she said.
She felt that it was such a holistic, natural way to feel better that when she and her military husband decided to stay in Petawawa, she knew that she had to open her own salt therapy spa.
“I just want to help people,” said Wiseman.
The official grand opening was held on June 19 and was well attended with people eager to see how salt therapy can benefit them.
