Christmas at Petawawa Heritage Village

The warmth of Christmas was evident at the Petawawa Heritage Village. On Dec. 10, the Village ushered in the spirit of the holidays and visitors could enjoy hot chocolate, Christmas carols, decorating gingerbread cookies, making Christmas cards, visiting with Santa, displays of lights and more. The event was the perfect time for people to explore everything the Village has to offer.

Inside the schoolhouse, the children could exercise their penmanship skills by creating Christmas cards. Rory Carleton, 3, works on a masterpiece.
In the newly installed pioneer church, different choirs and musicians were invited to perform including the Lutheran Church Choir.
