Road to Recovery 5 - Sept. 13 to 16, Ruck 2 Remember will be returning to the Ottawa Valley. It is a four day trek from the Petawawa Legion to Kanata with stops along the way. Catch the Ace is back and we are playing with a Provincial license. That means we can sell an unlimited amount of tickets. Tickets go on sale Sept. 14 and the first draw is Sept. 21. Tickets are available at the Legion bar. Legion memberships are coming due. Early bird membership fees for renewing members is $50 between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30. After Nov. 30 the fee is $55. All new memberships are $55.

The next general meeting will be held on Sept. 16 at 3 p.m. followed by a delicious roast dinner at 5 p.m.

Remembrance Day candles are now on sale in the main office. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Senior Sports will be starting Oct. 3 with indoor bowling from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. You do not need to be a member to participate, so come out and join us. We are taking bookings for your holiday parties. We have reasonable rates and wonderful staff to ensure you have a great event.

Sept. 14. 4:30-6 p.m. Fish and Chips dinner.

Every Monday night there is an open jam session at the Legion. All instruments welcome. Ages 18+.

Sept. 15. Hicktown will be playing at the Legion. They are a great band that plays new country and classic 80s rock. Tickets are on sale now at the Legion for $10.

Sept. 17. Game Night!! We will be playing Let’s Make A Deal with lots of prizes to give away. Starts at 7 pm and it is $5 to play.

Sept. 18. Come enjoy an evening of wine and cheese. We will be pairing various wine with delicious cheese to bring out both flavours. Cost for the event is $20.

Sept. 19. The Legion Band will be putting on a free show at 7 p.m.

Sept. 20. Join us for a fun evening of darts starting at 7 p.m.

Sept. 22. Euchre tournament. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the tournament starts at 12 p.m. Cost is $10 with all money being paid out in prizes. Soup and sandwiches will be available for purchase throughout.
