News from the Greater Petawawa Civitan Club

As I was out and about these past few weeks I met a lot of new people that are now living in Petawawa and did not know about our Civitan Bingo. So this for all the new-comers to Petawawa and area - our Bingo is held every Sunday night at the Petawawa Civic Centre. A $1,000 jackpot goes every week with a $100 second jackpot prize. Our 52 Special is getting up there again and it could go at any time. When it gets to $2,000 it must go. Each Sunday night we give away one $25 bingo voucher so you could play bingo for free the next time you come. Don’t forget, if you would like to give a gift to someone who likes to play bingo you can buy a voucher or as many as you like. They make a great gift for Birthdays or any other special event that comes up.

Now if you like homemade cookies, buns, bread, or other goodies, Civitan Marie and Civitan Millie have been doing some baking and the money from these sales is going into the fundraiser for the Civitan Park. Civitan Marie Arnold is also holding raffles for this fundraiser. Your support is most needed and welcomed. At this time I want to thank those who made donations for this fundraiser. Your support is gratefully appreciated and makes my job easier. Thank you once again.

For all you fishermen and women out there who want to know more about the fishing tournament that we will be holding this year, it will be held at the marina in Pembroke on August 17, 2019. Register early so you don’t get left out of all the fun.
