Oh boy, we had one every happy bingo player at our bingo Sunday night, February 3 - she won the 52 Special all by herself and it was worth $2,000.

Have you been out to our great Bingo on Sunday night? If not, you missed out on some fun and getting to know other people in our community. I am happy to say we have some new people come out and we hope they enjoyed the Bingo. There is a $1,000 jackpot that goes every week with a $100 second jackpot prize. Each Sunday night we give away one $25 bingo voucher so you could play bingo for free the next time you come.

Now if you would like to give a gift to someone who likes to play bingo, you can buy a voucher or as many as you like. If Mom or Dad like to play bingo and they have birthday or anniversary coming up, why not give them a bingo voucher or two? A friend likes bingo but can’t go to play - why not give her or him a bingo voucher? I give them out at birthdays and Christmas or other special days to my family. That way they can get a night of bingo and have chance to win some money and have some fun.

Now if you haven’t had time to eat supper before you get to bingo, we have hot dogs, sandwiches and some other goodies along with tea, coffee and pop for sale. Sometimes we have some homemade goodies, too.

I remind all the fishermen and women out there that we will be holding a fishing tournament again this year. It will be held at the marina in Pembroke on August 17, 2019 so register early so you don’t get left out of all the fun. I will have more information about this event in the upcoming weeks.
