News from the Petawawa Legion

Have you been in for our fish and chip Fridays yet? We do chicken strips and wings as well and you can do fries, onion rings or both. Half portions available and we do take out if you want to grab a meal on the way home. Food served from 4:30-6 p.m. Open to all so bring the family.

Our soup and sandwich Wednesdays have begun as well. You can stop in from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and enjoy homemade soup and either an egg salad sandwich or a meat sandwich that varies week to week. Everyone welcome.

Catch the Ace is ongoing. The money we raise goes back to the community like our donations to the Petawawa Pantry, flood relief, and the Robbie Dean Centre to name a few. Help us to support our community and maybe you will win some cash, too. Tickets can be purchased at the bar during regular hours and at Friday fish and chips.

Start planning your costume now so you can dazzle the crowd at our Halloween Dance on Saturday, October 26 from 8-midnight. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Music by the Wayne Lance Group. Late lunch provided in your modest entry cost. Open to all age of majority.

Don’t forget to save yourself a few dollars and pay your dues before November 30 and be an Early Bird. Price goes up on December 1. Remain a member in good standing by paying your dues now.
