The Poppy Campaign starts this Friday, Oct. 25. Please when you see a Poppy box consider making a donation and wear a Poppy to show your support for those who have, or are defending our great nation. All money raised during the campaign goes toward supporting Veterans and programs that are geared to Veterans.
Tickets for our Dinner of Remembrance being held on Saturday, Nov. 9 are available at the bar during regular hours. Any member of the Canadian military, serving or retired, is invited to our dinner free of charge and their spouse or escort is also free. Widows or widowers are also invited. All that is required is your ID card or release card. Dinner is roast beef or chicken. You must pick up your tickets in advance. Members of the public are also invited to purchase tickets to the dinner.
This Saturday Oct. 26, the branch is holding a Halloween Dance in the upstairs hall from 8-midnight. Music by Wayne Lance Group. Get your costumes on so you can get in on the judging. Doors open at 7:30 and a late light lunch will be served.
Catch The Ace is growing and we appreciate your support as the money raised goes to help community organizations. Tickets are on sale at the bar and at Friday fish and chips. Draws are held every Thursday at 6 p.m.
Our weekly Friday fish and chips and Wednesday soup and sandwich are open for all to attend. Friday we serve from 4:30-6 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
