Garrison Petawawa’s annual Garrison Family Day is a long-awaited tradition that brings the community together for a day of fun and adventures. Held this year on Sept. 7 at the Dundonald Hall grounds, the free event is a chance for residents to find out what is offered in the area. Games, entertainment, static and dynamic military displays, the Colour Run, food and information booths were on site for visitors to discover. Members of the Canadian Armed Forces, Garrison Petawawa Personnel Support Programs (PSP), the Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) and various other organizations come together to offer this fun-filled day, and it was an incredible success. The event is also a chance to thank military families for their constant commitment and support to their loved ones.
