News from the Catholic Women’s League

The Petawawa Catholic Women’s League is preparing for their Fall activities as follows: on Oct. 19 there is a Fall Meeting hosted by Saint Francis Xavier, Renfrew.

At our Oct. 6 meeting, Sandy Brannon will be our guest speaker as Safe School Coordinator.

Prayer service for our deceased CWL members is Nov. 4 in the Parish Centre in addition to our monthly meeting.

Friendship Sundays for Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 6 and Nov. 3 following our Sunday 10 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows church. A luncheon for senior parishioners is a possibility and is being discussed.

The next CWL meeting will be Sept. 9 in the Parish Centre. All members are invited to attend.
