Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day is a much anticipated event where the purchase of Blizzards helps children at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
The Aug. 8 event brought in a total of $15,198.50, with the Dairy Queen in Petawawa raising $8,771.50 and the Dairy Queen in Pembroke bringing in $6,427.
Owner Thomas Moncion and both DQ teams would like to thank the community for the support from both sales of balloons and donations, as well as all Blizzard sales on Miracle Treat Day.
