The CWL Christmas Tea and Bazaar on Dec. 7 was very successful and we thank all those who donated, attended, volunteered and organized this special event.

Our annual Tea/Bazaar is always well attended and our biggest CWL fundraiser of the year. We had winners of prizes which were donated to our Raffle table: a Keirstead Limited Edition Cabin Scene picture, a curled paper wreath, a book Recipes to Treasure, a Spa Living bath and body set, a paper trimmer, an Inspirations treat basket, a solid brass 5x7 picture frame, an Avon snowman, a Liberty Falls Village, a Laura Secord tea and cups, a sleigh full of goodies, and a Blue Pottery Casserole Basket.

We begin our 2020 New Year in CWL at Our Lady of Sorrows and the following events have been scheduled for January and February: on Jan. 26 we will have our first Friendship Sunday in 2020, following the 10 a.m. Mass.

There is no General Meeting in January, however there will be an Executive Meeting on Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Centre.

The February General Meeting will be on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Centre.

Some CWL Membership fees for 2020 are still due and need to be remitted to National shortly. The fee can be placed in an envelope marked CWL Membership 2020 and placed in the collection basket at any Mass or given to a member of the Executive. Please include your name, address,phone number and e-mail address (if available).
