$5,000 for PMFRC from Doyle Salewski

The Petawawa Military Family Resource Centre (PMFRC) received a $5,000 cheque from Doyle Salewski. For the past nine years, the PMFRC has been a recipient of this holiday generosity, and the money will be used to help with childcare services. Lil’ Troopers South Daycare made a special piece of art to thank Doyle Salewski for the generous donation. It was presented to President Brian Doyle on Dec. 19. This was given to him at the same time that he handed over the substantial cheque. The children were happy to pose for a photo with Doyle (seated), and (back left to right) Senior Director Teresa Micucci, PMFRC Business Manager Derek de Ruiter and PMFRC Board of Directors member Sarah Tough. In 2010, Doyle Salewski began supporting military families who are affected by unique socio-economic challenges: deployments, family separation, and relocation can create financial hardships and additional stress which is unique to military families. Doyle Salewski is a member of Canada Company, helping connect businesses and public leaders with the local military community. In the past nine years Doyle Salewski has donated $45,000 to the PMFRC.
