Dear CCMS: Challenge Us!

The Conflict and Complaint Management Services (CCMS) offices continue to support the Defence community through numerous awareness briefings, education and interventions. We have experienced and knowledgeable staff ready to assist.

Our staff neither advocate for, nor direct clients to, a course of action. Rather, are available to assist, educate and refer with the goal of resolving the issue early, locally and informally, as appropriate. We can also provide information on interest- and rights-based processes; clarify the policies and directives applicable to harassment, grievance, human rights and alternative dispute resolution; direct where to locate outcomes to cases before the court; or connect the chain of command with the appropriate Directorate.

CCMS staff are a great resource to connect with. We encourage you to challenge us with your situation, whatever the issue. We have worked with people on a whole range of topics such as: interpersonal conflicts, conduct/performance, harassment, compensation and benefits, and career management.

Being in the midst of conflict can feel isolating and perhaps as though no one else has gone through something similar. We know conflict can be difficult, so it’s our mission to provide an accessible, responsive and personalized service.

When you’re struggling for a solution or just need more information, turn to your local CCMS office for that extra support. We will work alongside you to reach a resolution.
