Garrison Petawawa Community Gardens Open for Sign Up

Residents of Garrison Petawawa Residential Housing Units (RHUs) are invited to reserve a plot or two in one of the community gardens offered by Garrison Petawawa Environmental Services. Plots and surrounding space must be maintained and weeded by the individual signing up for the plot.

There two garden sites available on both the north and south side. They are located on Pegasus Ave and on Wolfe Ave.

The Pegasus Garden will have 12 raised garden beds (4’ x 8’) and 9 full size plots (approximately 15’x 30’).

The Wolfe Garden currently has 39 raised beds and seven full sized plots available.

Many of today’s communities are establishing gardens within their cities and towns in efforts to promote local produce growth, food security, environmental awareness and community partnerships. The Garrison

Petawawa Community Gardens have been created with the aim of achieving these same goals.
