Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Women’s League Bursary Winners
Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Women’s League of Petawawa awarded bursaries to two graduating students this year. Both candidates graduated from Bishop Smith Catholic High School. Ruby Pilatzke is our youngest member of the CWL and will be attending Nipissing University with hopes of becoming a high school math teacher in Renfrew County. Ruby was involved in many school and Parish activities and is also a volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Lauren Stevenson will also be attending Nipissing University in the concurrent education program with hopes of becoming a teacher. Lauren assisted students at Bishop Smith Catholic High School as a Student Athletic Council Public Relations Coordinator.
