PEMBROKE - The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation will once again host their Un-Gala @ Home event, a fine dining experience coupled with a virtual concert to benefit the Pembroke Regional Hospital.

Both Ray and Barb Pilon, local owners and operators of Canadian Tire Pembroke, and Frank Carroll Financial are continuing their support of local healthcare by each generously donating $10,000 to the event, which will be held on October 16, 2021.

“Barb, myself and our team here at Canadian Tire Pembroke are happy to once again contribute to the PRHF in support of this year’s Cancer Care Campaign. As a 100 per cent locally owned Canadian company, we are committed to supporting our local community,” said Mr. Pilon.

“Our hope is that we can continue to expand upon our investment in local healthcare, and that others will continue to do so as well,” added Un-Gala Committee Chair Laura Carroll of Frank Carroll Financial. “We have supported the annual hospital Gala for 15 years. It is important to us because our health is the greatest asset that each of us has and we feel there is no better way to give back to our community.”

The Un-Gala @ Home is an opportunity for participants to enjoy their own gala dinner, while supporting their regional hospital. Un-Gala ticket holders will receive a delectable four-course dinner kit fully prepared by Ullrich’s along with an access key to enjoy the virtual show. Tickets are on sale now and available at www.prhfoundation.com/ungala.

Proceeds from the Un-Gala @ Home support the Cancer Care Campaign, which will fund the expansions and upgrades to the Chemotherapy and Medical Daycare units at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, improving the lives of local cancer patients and their families.

Foundation Executive Director Roger Martin echoed Ms. Carroll’s sentiments, noting, “We are very blessed to once again have the support of this local business, coupled with their staff...thank you all very much!”
