Light up the Valley is back

For the second time, Light up the Valley will bring brightness and cheer to residents during the holiday season.

From Dec. 1 to 31, homes, yards, storefronts and businesses in the Ottawa Valley are encouraged to deck the halls to bring joy to all.

This organized event allows people to visit and take in the sights by foot or by car, instilling charm and boosting holiday spirit.

New to this year is the chance to win $250. Prizes will be split into four categories: Best Business, Best Household, Best Neighbourhood and A Chance for Everyone, giving all who registered a chance to win. There are no registration fees.

The month-long holiday event was created through a partnership between the Town of Petawawa, the Township of Laurentian Valley, the City of Pembroke, and the Township of Whitewater.
