Military bishop confers Sacrament of Confirmation on St. Francis students

The Bishop of the Military Ordinariate, Most Reverend Monsignor Scott McCaig, conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation upon St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School students on Nov. 20. The sacred ceremony took place at St. George’s Chapel at Garrison Petawawa, where 31 individuals received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and an additional two who only partook in Holy Communion. The event, also presided over by Reverend Captain (Capt) John Nemanic, was a momentous occasion for the students, who were surrounded and supported by their families and friends as they took another step in their faith journey. L’évêque de l’Ordinariat militaire, Monseigneur Scott McCaig, a conféré le sacrement de la confirmation aux élèves de l’école catholique Saint-François d’Assise le 20 novembre. La cérémonie sacrée a eu lieu à la chapelle Saint-George de la garnison de Petawawa, où 31 individus ont reçu le sacrement de la confirmation, et deux autres n’ont participé qu’à la communion. L’événement, également présidé par le Prêtre Capitaine (Capt) John Nemanic, a été une occasion mémorable pour les élèves, entourés et soutenus par leurs familles et amis alors qu’ils franchissaient une nouvelle étape dans leur parcours de foi.
