GARRISON PETAWAWA - On 12 September 2025, the annual Iron Warrior competition will be held at Garrison Petawawa and on some routes within the Town of Petawawa. The race will begin at 6 a.m. with the firing of a blank artillery round which may be loud for some residents in the Residential Housing Units.

Select routes on Garrison Petawawa and within the Town of Petawawa will have traffic control personnel deployed between 6 a.m. and approximately 2 p.m. on 12 September in order to keep the Iron Warrior participants safe during the competition.

Following Friday’s IRON WARRIOR, Garrison Petawawa will host its Garrison Day on Saturday, September 13. This event is an opportunity for military personnel to showcase their dedication and skills to their families and the local community.

Des agents de contrôle de la circulation seront déployés sur certains parcours de la garnison Petawawa et dans la ville de Petawawa, entre 6 h et environ 14 h, le 12 septembre, afin d’assurer la sécurité des participants à la compétition Iron Warrior.

À la suite de l’IRON WARRIOR de vendredi, la garnison de Petawawa tiendra sa Journée de la garnison le samedi 13 septembre. Cet événement sera l’occasion pour le personnel militaire de démontrer son dévouement et ses compétences à leurs familles et à la communauté locale.
