CAF soccer teams from Toronto, Borden, Kingston, Trenton and North Bay visited their Petawawa counterparts in a bid to see who would be crowned winner of the 2016 Ontario Region Men’s and Women’s Soccer Championships. Starting on Aug. 8, these talented athletes took to the fields next to Dundonald Hall, and attempted to prove which team was best. There will be games for the public to enjoy throughout the week until the closing ceremonies on Friday around 11:30 a.m. The winners will go on to compete at the national level in Borden in September. Before the games started, Garrison Petawawa Formation Sergeant Major Chief Warrant Officer Bill Richards and Deputy Commander Lieutenant Colonel Scott Campbell posed with the captains of all participating teams.
